Bennington Lake/Mill Creek Trails – Walla Walla WA

Southeastern Washington – wheat country – The Blue Mountains to the East – Volcanoes to the West, glaciated and snowcapped rising high above the fertile countryside of orchards, ranches,  the Columbia River and Snake, windsurfing wine, high desert, Northwest Culture, (whatever that means for sure I don’t know exactly).  Lewis and Clark started the trendy trend of the Oregon Trail and told Thomas (as in Jefferson) that the Louisiana Purchase was a steal from that little punky politician in France – aka Napoleon.  All of 828 thousand sq miles for fifteen million bucks in 1803!  More money than that goes through coffee shops in the same region now in a day or two, though I have no official statistics on which to base that statement.
